How tutoring works
A clear route forward.
Starting point
A relaxed parent conversation
We’ll start with a short, informal conversation about your child, where they may need some extra support and what you hope they will gain from tutoring. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and for us to decide together how I can best support your child.
Confidence first
A gentle first session
The first session is all about helping your child feel comfortable and relaxed. Building a positive relationship is really important to me, so I’ll take time to get to know them and help them feel at ease. Through gentle, informal activities, I’ll begin to identify their strengths and any areas where they may need additional support.
Personal support
A personal learning plan
Every session is shaped around your child’s individual needs, pace and confidence. We can focus on Maths, English or a combination of both, adapting the sessions as their needs change.
Steady progress
Regular progress and feedback
I’ll keep you updated on your child’s progress, celebrating their strengths and sharing any areas we’re continuing to work on. I’m always happy to discuss their learning and answer any questions you may have.
Ready when you are
Take the first step without committing to a lesson.
Ask a question or talk through the support your child may need.
