The basics

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, phone or other device when you visit a website. They can help a website remember information about your visit, keep features secure and understand how the site is being used.

Similar technologies, such as local browser storage, can perform related functions. References to cookies on this page include these technologies where appropriate.

How cookies are used

Always active

Essential cookies and storage

Essential storage supports secure administration and remembers your cookie preference. These functions are needed for the website to operate safely and are not used for advertising.

Your choice is saved in local browser storage as cookie_consent, with the value accepted or rejected, until you change it or clear that storage. If saving a rejection fails, a session preference cookie may keep analytics disabled. If storage is blocked, you may be asked again.

Optional

Analytics cookies

With your permission, Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public pages to help us understand how the website is used. Its optional first-party cookies include _ga and cookies whose names start with _ga_.

Google Analytics is not loaded and no Analytics requests are sent before you select Accept or when your choice is Reject. Any analytics identifiers remain only for the period configured by the relevant provider or until you clear them.

Third-party analytics

If you accept, Google Analytics receives public page-view and browser/device information. Our page views exclude query strings, URL fragments and referrers. Administration pages and private booking confirmation references are excluded. We do not send names, email addresses, enquiry contents or learning information as Analytics event data.

This information is used to understand and improve the website, not to enable advertising storage. Google publishes its own privacy information and applies the Analytics property's retention settings.

Your controls

Managing cookies

You can use your browser settings to view, delete or block cookies, block third-party cookies or clear stored information when the browser closes. Private browsing can also limit what is retained after a session.

Blocking all storage may affect secure administration or other essential website features. For information about personal data, read the privacy policy.

Cookie preferences

Change your analytics choice

Use Cookie settings here or in the footer to choose Accept or Reject at any time. Opening settings does not enable Analytics. Rejecting after acceptance stops collection, removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies and reloads the page when the preference has been saved.
