One child, one table, no audience.
Meet the tutor
An experienced teacher, focused on one child at a time.
I simply want to help children feel happier and more confident in their learning, so they don't feel left behind in the classroom. Having worked in primary education for many years, I have seen first-hand how struggling with learning can affect a child's confidence, self-esteem and overall well-being.
My approach is friendly, patient and supportive. I want children to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and having another go, without ever feeling pressured or embarrassed. I tailor each session to the individual child, using clear explanations, encouragement and practical activities to help make difficult topics easier to understand.
My many years of teaching have given me a wealth of experience working with children of different ages, abilities and needs. Whether your child needs help to fill gaps in their learning, extra support with a particular area, or simply a boost in confidence, my aim is to meet them where they are and help them move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
Most importantly, I want children to leave their sessions feeling that little bit more confident and thinking, “I can do this.”
